During the last day of CYDES 2023, I had the incredible opportunity to step into the role of a moderator for the panel discussion "Youth in Cyber: Developing a Better Cybersecurity Community for Our Next Generation" as a MCC crew!🎉

Being entrusted as a moderator alongside my partner and also a fellow MCC alumni, Nik Amir Hakim, was a tremendous honor, and I'm delighted to share that this was my second time moderating, but on a grander scale! This experience held a special place in my heart as we dived deep into crucial topics that resonate profoundly within the cybersecurity community, and this was held at a national event!

Throughout the panel discussion, we embarked on a journey of exploration, addressing critical aspects such as the current state of Malaysia's cybersecurity community, comparing the education system with global standards, brainstorming approaches for nurturing the next generation's talent, and gaining insights into international cybersecurity communities. Our conversations also encompassed our memorable experiences and key takeaways from the Malaysia Cybersecurity Camp (MCC) 2022. 🌐

I must express my utmost appreciation to my fellow panelists and MCC alumni, Aniq Rahim, Nurul Hanan, Kelvin Teo, and Yen Wai Hong. Collaborating with such passionate and knowledgeable individuals was an absolute pleasure. All the meetings and dry runs we engaged in were truly worth it in the end, and I must commend each one of you for keeping your cool and composure throughout the entire session! Kudos to all of you! 🌟

Beyond the panel discussion, I was fortunate to catch up with several seasoned professionals throughout the rest of the event day. Engaging with them brought me immense joy, and the exchange of ideas was truly inspiring. Connecting with these seniors was an experience I'll cherish forever! 🤝

I would also like to extend my heartfelt thanks to the event organizers for putting together this incredible gathering. The amount of effort and dedication they poured into making this event a success truly deserves admiration. A special shout-out to RE:HACK for embarking with the idea and providing this platform for us to share and exchange knowledge and experiences. 🙏

As I reflect on this journey as a moderator, I'm filled with gratitude for the opportunity to play a part in the growth and development of the cybersecurity community. I look forward to many more such enriching experiences, collaborating with brilliant minds and fostering a thriving cyber community for our next generation. Together, we can make a significant difference, no matter what age! Malaysia BOLEH! 🚀
